Newly formed in 2025, GBAS was founded by and comprised of arts professionals with decades of industry experience who are passionate about leveraging their skills to provide world class fine arts related services. The team at GBAS is well versed in all manners of art handling, installation, rigging and museum level packing techniques. Each member has devoted their career to the fine art services industry with personal commitment to the longevity & well being of every art object they service.
Nestled in a tranquil area of Reno, the GBAS climate & humidity controlled warehouse is security monitored 24/7 and safely houses renowned institutional and private collections. Viewing & workspaces are also available to artists and collectors alike, providing ample room to fully realize a project or collection in its entirety. The team at GBAS is committed to integrity in the art services & storage business, taking pride in nurturing client relationships to safely service diverse culturally relevant & valuable collections & objects.
Our Team
Great Basin Art Services was founded in 2025 by married partners Ky and Linda Boe with the intention of providing high-quality fine art services, storage and logistics for the greater Reno/Lake Tahoe region & beyond. With over sixty years combined experience, Linda & Ky both began their careers in the 1990s, successfully progressing from entry-level to top-level management roles in various internationally recognized fine art services & logistics companies stationed throughout the U.S.
Linda’s breadth of professional experience informs her well-honed expertise in business administration, project management, sales, marketing and client relations. Ky’s considerable aptitude & experience in operations bestows itself well to the proper management of the technical aspects of fine art handling such as packing, installation and transportation. Together they are an exacting and highly qualified team, forming the foundation of Great Basin Art Services.
